In recent years, numerous projects have emerged, many of which are critical to our future success. However, our ability to handle them with the necessary detail and structure has been limited by capacity constraints and the need for continuous follow-up. This role will play a crucial part in addressing these challenges, bringing a higher level of professionalism and structured management to our operations. The Project Management Specialist will be instrumental in driving our strategy forward, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and effectively. These elements are needed to support Quality and Industrial engineering activities on which we have a significant resource shortage in the Plant.Key Responsibilities:Project Management Execution: Lead and oversee the execution and tracking of projects across multiple disciplines, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Operational Excellence: Manage and drive operational excellence initiatives, identifying opportunities for process improvements and ensuring high standards of execution
Administrative Leadership: Take charge of key administrative projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and to a high standard.
Coaching & Development: Serve as a coach and mentor, particularly in CBS (Continental Business Systems) Manufacturing, PROMT, A3 Facilitation, Conti Business teams, 5S to enhance team capabilities and develop this critical strategic manufacturing element.
Strategic Planning: Plan, organize, and coordinate key management actions and deliverables, including strategy implementation, budgeting, and POR's, key visits,
Manufacturing Support: Provide critical support to management for events, projects, and other high-priority initiatives.No relocation assistance is offered for this position; however, the position may be eligible for a sign on bonus.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
- Basic proficiency in the MS Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering preferred
- Experience in project management, particularly in complex or multi-disciplinary environments
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite
