We're looking for an experienced Support Worker to join our small, friendly team supporting two wonderful female residents in a supported living setting in Bournemouth.About the Role:You'll be supporting two ladies who have learning difficulties, are non-verbal, and use wheelchairs. They require assistance with day-to-day activities including:Personal careMeal preparationMobility and manual handlingDaily routinesEngaging in the local communityThey love getting out and about-whether it's trips to the park, shopping, going to cafés, or attending social events. We're looking for someone who can help them live a full and joyful life.Experience Required:Proven experience supporting individuals with learning disabilitiesComfortable with non-verbal communication strategiesKnowledge of wheelchair support and manual handlingConfident with personal care and supported living dutiesPersonal Qualities:Patient, gentle, and compassionateA good sense of humour and fun-loving spiritStrong communication skills and a team playerAble to work flexible shifts, including weekends if requiredSponsorship not availableDue to the personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing), privacy, dignity, and welfare of the residents. We will require a female support worker for the role
