We’re working with a supportive 11–16 secondary school looking for a talented MFL teacher to deliver French and Spanish across KS3 and KS4. Whether you’re early in your career or ready for a fresh challenge, this is a great opportunity to bring language learning to life for curious, engaged students.About the RoleIn this role, you’ll:
- Teach both French and/or Spanish from Year 7 to GCSE
- Create engaging, interactive lessons that build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing
- Support students of all abilities to progress with clarity and enthusiasm
- Prepare pupils for GCSE assessments with structured, well-paced revision and feedback
- Contribute to cultural enrichment across the school (language clubs, trips, themed events)
- Holds QTS and a relevant language degree
- Has experience teaching French and Spanish at secondary level
- Builds strong relationships in the classroom and fosters a love of language learning
- Uses varied and inclusive approaches to engage every learner
- Is committed to delivering high standards in both subject knowledge and classroom culture
