We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Clinical Operating Theatre Manager to join our team.The successful candidate will be a key driver of change, implementing best practices, and ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our operating theatres. This is a unique opportunity for a proactive individual to make a significant impact on our clinical services.Main duties of the jobThe Clinical Theatre Service Manager will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the operating theatres, ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical services. The role requires driving change and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.The post holder will collaborate closely with both the clinical and operational teams to ensure seamless and coordinated care. Developing and implementing policies and procedures to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards will also be a critical aspect of this role. Additionally, the successful candidate will oversee staff development and training programs, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth, as well as managing budgets and resources effectively to optimise service delivery.The ideal candidate will be a registered healthcare professional (NMC or HCPC ODP) with a relevant clinical qualification and have proven experience in a leadership role within an operating theatre. Strong organisational and management skills are essential, along with a track record of driving change and improving processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, capable of building strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
