Job DescriptionVelocity Recruitment is a well established and well respected Driving Recruitment Agency based in the North East, We require Class1 drivers for our Client based in Newcastle Upon Tyne working Monday to Friday or Weekends.
  • Basic Hours - Monday to Friday - £15.13 per hour
  • Weekend Hours - £15.69 to £16.81 per hour
Responsibilities
  • Operate HGV Class1 vehicles safely and efficiently during shifts
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while adhering to traffic regulations
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance
  • Manage loads securely, ensuring proper strapping where needed
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
  • Communicate effectively with traffic office and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
Requirements for this role
  • C+E entitlement on licence
  • Valid CPC and Digi Card
  • No more than 6pts on licence, with No DD, DR, IN or TT on licence
