To provide a high standard of speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) outpatients presenting with voice disorders, head and neck cancer and/or swallowing difficulties.
To contribute to the education and development of less experienced speech and language therapists, assistants and student speech and language therapists within the area of clinical specialism.
To contribute to the development and evaluation of the Speech and Language Therapy service within the area of chosen developing specialism.
To work as an autonomous practitioner providing specialist speech and language therapy assessment and intervention to patients presenting with diverse and complex voice, head and neck, and/or swallowing difficulties, who may have co-existing complex physical and psychological conditions.
Provide clinical advice, in the area of developing specialism, for other speech and language therapists and professionals from other disciplines.
