The companyOne of the UK's suppliers of construction plant machinery and cranes are looking to appoint a service supervisor who can take the business forward, working alongside the after sales team, providing technical support to bring an overall level of excellence to an already respected company.Responsibilities of the Service Supervisor
  • As the service supervisor, you will be working with a team of engineers, diarising workloads, and monitoring times to ensure the department is efficient.
  • Carrying out administration, processing time sheets, inspection reports closing and opening jobs.
  • Ensure that all equipment on loan carries compliant documentation
  • Dealing with customer requests and keeping them up to date of the process.
  • Liaising with other departments within the business such as the sales team.
  • Co-ordinate and ordering of parts for engineers.
Skills
  • Ability to communicate efficiently
  • Experience working within the hire industry such as heavy plant, tools, powered access, cranes or lifting.
  • Previous experience as an after sales supervisor, service supervisor, service manager, service coordinator, breakdown coordinator, breakdown controller or similar.
