Salary: CompetitiveOverview:Our client, a market-leading international law firm, is seeking a Litigation Executive to join their growing Motor team. This role offers the opportunity to manage your own caseload of fast-track and small claims litigated personal injury cases, while also supporting and supervising junior members of the team.With a strong reputation in the defendant personal injury and motor claims sector, this is an excellent opportunity for a confident and experienced Fee Earner to develop within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.The Team:The Motor team handles a broad mix of litigation work, including:
  • Personal injury
  • Credit hire
  • Complex liability motor claims
Clients include major UK insurers, self-insured businesses, TPAs and commercial organisations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a mixed caseload of litigated fast-track and small claims, primarily arising from road traffic accidents
  • Apply knowledge of the MOJ Portal, OIC process and the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
  • Conduct negotiations, draft pleadings and manage files through to trial or settlement
  • Supervise, mentor and support junior team members
  • Work closely with clients and maintain high standards of service and communication
  • Use case management systems and manage competing deadlines effectively
Required Experience:
  • 2–5 years’ experience handling fast-track and small claims personal injury litigation (defendant-side preferred)
  • Experience managing a personal caseload independently
  • Familiarity with court procedures, the CPR, MOJ Portal and OIC process
  • Proven ability to mentor or support junior colleagues
  • Excellent client care, organisational and time management skills
  • Confident using case management systems and legal technology
