- Acting as a trusted advisor to managers on all aspects of employee relations, providing expert guidance in line with company policies and employment legislation.
- Managing and advising on the full employee lifecycle, including new starter onboarding, leaver processes, maternity and parental leave conversations, and contractual changes.
- Leading and advising on formal and informal ER procedures, such as disciplinary, grievance, and capability processes, ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance.
- Coaching and equipping managers to confidently handle sensitive conversations, including performance concerns, absence management, and conduct issues.
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders to promote a culture of open communication, engagement, and proactive issue resolution.
- Reviewing and applying HR policies to ensure consistency of practice across the business and supporting managers in interpreting and implementing them effectively.
- Working closely with HR Admin to ensure accurate management information.
- Proven experience in a Senior HR generalist role with a strong focus on employee relations and policy application, ideally within a professional services environment.
- Confident in coaching managers and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.
