  • Administer medication to prison residents in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct medication audits and manage controlled drugs.
  • Maintain stock levels and ensure timely ordering of pharmaceuticals.
  • Accurately record prescriptions and monitor dispensing activities.
  • Engage in clinical tasks such as medicines reconciliation, patient counselling, and follow-up.
  • Manage waste and ensure safe disposal procedures.
  • Participate in training sessions and attend Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings.
  • Utilize Smartcard access and demonstrate proficiency with SystmOne or similar software.
  • Use your own transport to navigate to and from the facility.
