Are you an employee at the University of Leeds?Residential Services houses around 8,500 students in a variety of accommodation, owned by the University or leased from private providers. We are seeking applications for a non-residential Residence Life Warden. This position is a fixed term contract for one year covering Ellerslie and Lyddon Hall. Ellerslie and Lyddon are residences housing undergraduate students managed by the University of Leeds.You will be responsible for the pastoral care and maintenance of discipline for the student residents in your halls and contribute to building a community in which the residents can pursue their studies in a conducive, supportive environment. You will also be responsible for co-ordinating the Residence Life Assistants in your halls.You must be employed by the University and have experience of working or dealing with students, ideally as a personal tutor or counsellor. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to interact effectively with staff, students and parents.Due to the nature of the Residence Life Warden role, we are unable to accept applications from undergraduate students.
