
Development Support: AI/Gameplay

- We create and maintain core gameplay systems and a complex open-world simulation.
- We develop systems to populate and simulate large worlds efficiently.
- We work as a distributed team across multiple studios and collaborate closely with the Design, Art, and Engine departments.
- Work closely with the AI / Gameplay development team as a whole, including coordinating with developers at other Rockstar studios.
- Assist with production tasks including prioritizing tasks, working through bug lists and reproducing/verifying bugs.
- Play test and provide feedback on new features.
- Perform manual testing and help maintain automated tests to prevent regressions.
- Edit metadata that helps define our AI behaviours and Gameplay mechanics.
- A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Game Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A portfolio of relevant work/projects.
- A solid and in depth of understanding of how AI and gameplay mechanics work in games.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Organization and attention to detail.
- A passion for playing and creating groundbreaking video game experiences.
- In-depth familiarity with Rockstar products.
- A technical (programming, maths, computer science) background.
