Pay Rate: £98.94 – £114.84 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-timeAre you a skilled and passionate HLTA looking to make a significant impact in a primary school environment?GSL Education are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in schools in Louth. This is a great opportunity for those with experience in supporting teaching and learning at a higher level, assisting teachers in delivering effective and engaging lessons.Responsibilities as an HLTA:
  • Deliver high-quality learning support to individual students or small groups.
  • Support teachers in the planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons.
  • Take on additional teaching responsibilities as required, including covering classes in the absence of the teacher.
  • Assist in assessing and tracking student progress.
  • Promote an inclusive classroom environment, catering to the diverse needs of all students.
  • Support the teacher in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Requirements for HLTA:
  • Recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a school setting.
  • Previous experience working as an HLTA or in a similar support role in a primary school is essential.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
  • A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment over the last 10 years.
