This role is ideal for an art or creative graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a therapeutic environment while making a meaningful impact on the lives of children.About the Role:
  • Salary: £101 to £110 per day
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm (term time only)

As an Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the children’s daily lives, including Sensory care, keeping the child safe personal care, toilet care, gaining experience that fully qualified Art and Speech and Language Therapists go through when completing the extensive qualifying processes.You will also help create a nurturing and stimulating environment, using art, music, and play as therapeutic tools to engage and support the children.Aspiring Art Therapist - Learning Support Assistant Reading – Education and TrainingGlobal Development Delay (GDD):Global Development Delay refers to a significant delay in two or more areas of a child’s development, such as motor skills, speech, cognition, or social-emotional growth. In this role, you will work closely with children who have GDD, learning their unique stimuli and preferences to help them thrive.   • An understanding of the therapeutic roles art, music, and play can have in supporting children with SEN.
