We are a world leader in military satellite communication services, providing solutions that benefit from the company’s 40+ years of experience delivering and maintaining communication services for military and defence users.Airbus Defence and Space (ADS) is looking for experienced, dynamic and driven Sales Managers to drive growth across Military SatCom and ISTAR programmes within the Integrated Space Solutions business, in the UK and for overseas customers.Reporting directly to the Head of Sales UK/ US/ APAC – Integrated Space Solutions UK you will be part of a highly motivated team delivering existing opportunities and further developing the strategy and pipeline for new business growth across the Military SatCom landscape.You will have a successful track record in Sales and Campaign Management within this area, the ability to lead multifunctional teams, and show a proven ability to find and drive new business to successful closure.HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAMAchieve the teams budgeted target for contracted and new business, meeting order intake, sales and gross margin expectationsProvide effective management of sales funnel and business pipeline to close and track new businessDevelop relationships with customers at senior levelWork closely with other teams and Senior Management within ADS to meet business, EBIT and revenue objectivesDeliver against individual targets in order to accomplish revenue objectivesWork with ADS Executive Management on identifying and executing new strategic areas for revenue and EBIT growthABOUT YOUDemonstrable track record of managing sales campaigns in Military SatCom and global connectivity marketsA strong grasp of telecommunications and/or satellite technologyProven ability to manage sales pipelines, plan and conduct contract negotiations and present in a compelling mannerAbility to build and maintain strategic relationships with key partners and customersHOW WE CAN SUPPORT YOUMany of our staff work flexibly in many different ways, including part-time.
