- Experience as a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
- Be qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) or above in childcare and have experience of working in a nursery environment with children aged 3 months to 5 years.
- Have a good understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and / or Development Matters and be able to use and talk about how you have planned activities for the children.
- Have an awareness of planning, observing and record keeping for young children and the ability to link these to the individual child's needs.
- Have high standards, enthusiasm, good planning and organisational skills.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Have enthusiasm and passion for providing high quality childcare.
- Have your own transport / way of getting to work
- Provide high-quality care and supervision to children in a nursery setting.
- Implement educational activities and programs that promote early childhood development.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Utilise organisational skills to maintain a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Demonstrate leadership and management abilities when overseeing daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in childcare.
- Utilise English language skills to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
