Start: As soon as possibleBCS Connect is partnering with a leading environmental services company to recruit an experienced Area Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business at the forefront of sustainable waste management, offering the chance to make a real impact across multiple sites.As Area Manager, you will oversee four key depots located in Hample, Rainham, Risby, and Tunbridge Wells. You will lead and inspire depot management teams to achieve operational excellence, drive profitability, and maintain the highest standards of customer service and compliance.You will have full responsibility for the commercial, financial, operational, and regulatory performance of your area, ensuring group targets are consistently met or exceeded.This role also offers significant scope to develop new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with existing clients. You will collaborate closely with sales, commercial, and marketing teams to expand the customer base, maximise repeat business, and help introduce new products and services aligned with company goals.The position requires a hands-on leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. Flexibility is essential, as you will be expected to dedicate the hours needed to ensure depot success—including evenings, weekends, and occasional time away from home.To be successful in this role, you must have previous management experience within the waste management or environmental services sector. A strong track record in financial, sales, and operational management is essential, along with keen commercial awareness and the ability to develop client relationships.
