- Delivering the People Plan as part of a dedicated HR Team, and alongside business leaders
- Working closely with employees to implement people plans locally
- Facilitating HR programmes including performance management and policy implementation
- Supporting and facilitating contentious issues that have escalated or that involve senior management
- Working proactively with the business to ensure there is a positive Employee Relations environment, and strong levels of employee engagement in the region
- Co-ordinating and managing Employee engagement activity in the region
- Working with the Senior Managers to drive up line management capability and ownership of people management
- Working with leadership teams to facilitate succession planning and coaching
- Helping to drive performance across the business through MI
- Initiating, leading and supporting HR projects
- Working to ensure training needs are identified and addressed
- Facilitating the recruitment and assessment process for roles in the business area
- Ensuring the delivery of customer centric and supportive HR service
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
- Developing and managing change programmes
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage with, and influence a range of stakeholders
- Reporting and providing insight
- Policy implementation, performance management, and employee relations
- Strong commercial awareness, business understanding,
- Confidence in dealing with contentious issues, using professionalism and confidentiality
- Strong team ethic with the ability to work across departments, preferably in a matrix structure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience of prioritising work in an environment with changing priorities
