  • Design and deliver small to medium traffic and parking schemes
  • Assist Senior Engineers and Principal Engineers with project delivery
  • Contribute to programmes including Low Traffic Neighbourhoods, bus and cycle improvements, greening schemes, School Streets, and parking improvements
  • Utilise AutoCAD for designing traffic engineering solutions
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Provide technical advice and support to the team
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards and regulations
  • Conduct site visits and assessments as required
Job Requirements:
  • Experience working in traffic engineering, particularly in a local authority setting
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for designing traffic schemes
  • Strong understanding of traffic and parking schemes
  • Solid knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects effectively
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Relevant engineering qualification
