- To teach a range of practical sheep and cattle skills to Level 2 and 3 students, as specified in the course programme. Skills to include weighing, dosing, injecting and tagging stock and selecting animals for slaughter.
- To assess student competence in a range of practical sheep and cattle skills to Level 2 and 3 students. Skills to include weighing, dosing, injecting and tagging stock and selecting animals for slaughter.
- To complete all appropriate documentation relating to each instruction and assessment session as required.
- To record/evaluate learner performance and provide feedback.
- To undertake required training as prescribed by Course Awarding Bodies, funding agencies, DAERA, CAFRE
- To undertake all other duties as assigned by line manager.
- To attend FE Team meetings.
