
Sessional Bereavement Counsellor

- You will have capacity to deliver a core offer of 6 sessions per client and a minimum caseload of 6 clients per week with sessions offered in person or remotely.
- You will be an empathic counsellor with excellent communication skills and a passion for service improvement within health care and in particular the field of bereavement.
- You will have regular clinical supervision in place with a supervisor who is registered with a recognised professional body [e.g. BACP, UKCP, NCS], and with whom appropriate arrangements can be made to meet the regulatory requirements for these sessional clients.
- A key part of the role is to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and other health and care professionals to deliver the best possible care for our clients ensuring Farleigh Hospice bereavement service is an integral part of the local health and care economy and is current with the national bereavement picture.

- A qualified counsellor who has completed a BACP or other suitable accredited course, to at least diploma level. Registration/membership with BACP or equivalent organisation and working within the professional ethical framework.
