
Pharmacy Production Officer-Technical Services

- NVQ3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences OR Level 3 Science Manufacturing Technician (SMT) in Pharmaceutical Science OR an undergraduate degree in chemistry OR biological sciences
- Registered, or eligible to be registered, with the GPhC, Science Council (SMT), Royal Society of Chemistry or Royal Society of Biology
- Commitment and evidence of continuous professional development
- Training in Good Clinical Trials Practice and ICH
- For Band 5: Extensive recent experience of working in hospital or industry pharmaceutical aseptic services with associated training.
- A Band 4 position may be offered to applicants with little or no experience and robust objectives would be set to be achieved to progress to Band 5 level (target within 2 years)
- Computer literate with good general keyboard skills, for using the pharmacy computer systems, including ordering, receiving and stock and rectifying stock discrepancies.
- Ability to work well with all colleagues as part of a team Knowledge of hospital pharmacy practice including current initiatives relating to technical services
- Must be able to adhere to standard operating procedures and UHNM policies
- Understanding of GMP
