In this role of SEN TA, you will provide tailored support to pupils, helping them engage in learning, build confidence, and develop essential skills.Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEN.
  • Assist in implementing individual learning plans in collaboration with teachers and SENCOs.
  • Promote positive behaviour, independence, and emotional well-being.
  • Adapt learning resources and activities to suit pupils’ needs.
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment.
Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:
  • Experience working with children with SEN is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting pupils’ learning and development.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
