- Delivering Engaging Content: You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, engaging D&T lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE), following the UK curriculum.
- Fostering Creativity and Practical Skills: Guide students in developing their design, making, and critical evaluation skills across various materials and disciplines.
- Collaborating with Your Team: Work closely with a skilled and supportive team of professionals, sharing best practices and contributing to the success of the department.
- Full Teaching Responsibilities: Your role will include lesson planning, marking, student assessment, and maintaining a positive and safe workshop environment.
- Upholding School Standards: Adhere to all school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and student welfare.
- You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Design and Technology or a related field.
- You have proven experience teaching the D&T UK curriculum at the secondary level.
- You possess excellent classroom and workshop management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- You are adaptable, reliable, and have strong communication skills.
