- Supporting people to live independently, can involve helping the people we support budget their finances, pay bills, do housework, organising appointments, and cooking.
- Encourage and support activities in the service and out in the community.
- Developing personal and practical skills to enhance independent living.
- Be responsible for the safeguarding of the individuals we support.
- Administering medication when required – full training will be given.
- Experience with autism an advantage
- Positive, motivated, and passionate about providing the very best support.
- Self-motivated and committed to the role.
- Have good communication and listening skills.
- Flexible as shifts are on a rota basis and may include waking nights depending on the service requirements.
