You will help enable colleagues to feel informed and connected with the firm, supporting our ‘motivated teams’ strategic objective and helping us to grow the employer brand.
To help build effective relationships and to support collaboration, this role will involve regular office attendance as well as travel to all Capsticks offices.Role and responsibilities
- Write high quality creative copy as well as editing and proof reading others copy to ensure consistency and effective communication of key messages in line with the firms strategy and values
- Upskill and train others throughout the business to deliver effective internal communications and coaching them to create internal comms plans
- Work in partnership with the projects team to design comms plans, supporting with key messages, channels and schedules
- Devise creative ways to engage a multi-generational workforce, including messaging and mediums of communication
- Create comms plans for key corporate comms initiatives and plan content for Senior Leadership Team’s quarterly tea breaks
- Work with Senior Leadership Team to articulate and deliver key messages for large changes in the business
- Create multi-channel internal comms programmes, thinking creatively about different ways to engage teams and groups within the business
- Own the internal comms strategy to engage all employees, in line with the firms’ wider corporate strategy
- Deliver effective internal messaging using written, video and audio content as well as leading on internal events
- Engage and build partnership relationships with all business services teams, to ensure consistent internal comms strategies, messaging and tone of voice internally
- Manage the development and optimisation of our internal communications channels, establishing measurement metrics, reporting on their effectiveness and making recommendations for improvement
- Work in partnership with the HR team on internal campaigns, employer branding campaigns and talent acquisition/retention initiatives
- Work in partnership with employee network groups to support communication of initiatives
- Ability to collaborate and work in partnership with internal stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent project management skills
- Develop and implement strategic communication plans
- Excellent copy writing, proof reading and editing skills
- Manage multiple projects and tasks effectively, with strong organisational skills
- Be able to analyse data and provide insights to inform communication strategies
- Ability to use own initiative to progress work

- Great time-management skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with an ability to engage at all levels

- Agile and able to flex and adapt to changing priorities and project scope
- Significant experience in an internal focussed senior communications role
- Demonstrable track record in developing and managing impactful brand and communications campaigns and activities
- Experience in creating and delivering multi-channel internal campaigns using various mediums for communication
- A strong understanding of brand and corporate identity, with experience of acting as a brand champion
- Experience creating project plans and internal comms plans and delivering campaigns against a plan
- Experience with Microsoft communications tools and channels (SharePoint, Office, Teams, Engage etc.)
- Experience of building and developing positive and collaborative relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Experience of working directly with senior leadership translating key messages in to effective communication for internal teams
- Experience advising on internal comms strategies for change projects
- Experience reporting against engagement metrics to demonstrate value of internal comms channels
- Experience with change management initiatives, taking a leading role in the communication planning.
