About the roleThe newly established Leverhulme Centre for Humanity and Space (LCHS) at the University of Leicester is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Centre Manager. The successful candidate will support the Centre Director, manage, motivate and evolve the research team, coordinate administrative and budgetary functions; meet the needs of LCHS staff and partner institutions and liaise with the Leverhulme Trust as the primary stakeholder. The LCHS will officially launch in February 2026 and will conduct research across all aspects of Space in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. The Centre has been generously funded by the Leverhulme Trust with an award of £10m over 10 years to transform the way Space is thought about in AHSS.About youYou will have a relevant degree/or significant relevant experience. In addition, you will have experience of project management and supervision of staff as well as experience of organising events. You will also have knowledge of relevant IT software.You will be fluent in English, sufficient to undertake research and administrative activities utilising English Language materials and to communicate effectively. Also, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills including good IT competency.
