With a long-standing reputation for quality and customer service, we are expanding and now seeking a VAG-accredited Diagnostic Technician to join our high-performing Aftersales team in Epsom, Surrey.This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your technical expertise into a fast-paced, professional environment where your development and contributions will be fully supported and rewarded.🧰 The RoleAs a Diagnostic Technician, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing, repairing, and servicing vehicles to the highest standard. You’ll act as a technical lead and mentor, liaising with manufacturers and supporting fellow technicians to ensure high-quality outcomes for both customers and the dealership.🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex faults on a variety of motor vehicles
- Complete all work in line with manufacturer and dealership guidelines
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians
- Liaise with manufacturer support and technical departments to resolve advanced faults
- Keep up-to-date with manufacturer bulletins via the DCS system
- Undertake quality control checks and complete thorough job cards and service reports
- Accurately perform Vehicle Health Checks and maintain detailed records
- Adhere to all time-keeping, uniform, and health & safety procedures
- Ensure working areas are kept clean and well-maintained
- Maintain efficiency levels of 75%–115%
- Achieve first-time fix rates to minimise rework
- Consistently meet or exceed quality and customer satisfaction benchmarks
