- Gain frontline experience working with pupils affected by trauma, social exclusion, or behavioural challenges
- Develop the skills and insight needed for careers in youth offending, therapy, education, or social work
- Collaborate with a multi-agency team: social workers, psychologists, SENCOs, and education welfare professionals
- Receive full training and continuous professional development from day one
- Supporting young people with SEMH needs in 1:1 and small group settings
- Helping students build emotional regulation, confidence, and positive behaviours
- Assisting with behavioural plans, therapeutic interventions, and trauma-informed support strategies
- Contributing to a nurturing, inclusive environment that promotes growth and learning
- Learning how to manage risk, de-escalate crisis situations, and encourage positive change
- A Psychology, Criminology, or Social Sciences graduate with a genuine interest in youth support and aspiring youth offending officer
- A compassionate, calm, and resilient mindset
- Any experience with young people is a bonus (youth work, tutoring, mentoring, volunteering)
- A full-time, term-time commitment and ability to travel to Ware
