If “YES,” we want to hear from you!About the RoleAs a Class 1 Driver, you will:
- Use double-deck trailers, reefers tautliners or LST trailers to transport goods to various retail locations.
- Cover customer deliveries, depot deliveries and Pallet Line work.
- Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.
- Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
- Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
- Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Confident, polite, and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
- Competitive Salary: £41,873 per annum - £44,873 per annum, depending on hours worked.
- Shift Hours: As above. Start between 03:00hrs – 07:00hrs.
