East Surrey Pharmacy Department is an environment which provides exciting opportunities for career progression.A varied role with rotations to different areas within our mini-teams, enabling experience of medicine use across all specialties, including other rotations based in the dispensary and pharmacy stores. Duties include going to wards to order stock and deliver medicines, supplying medicines from pharmacy stores and dispensing medicines in the dispensary.Previous experience of working in a pharmacy environment (hospital or retail) is desirable, but not essential as full in-house training will be provided, including support to gain BTech level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills. To qualify for enrolment on BTech level 2 it is essential that you have GCSEs (or equivalent qualifications) at grade C (4) or above in English Language, Mathematics and a Science.Hours of work depends on specific service requirements and will include participation in late duty, weekend and bank holiday working. Part time working and job share will be considered.
