- Lead, manage, and hold accountable your team including 1:1s, team meetings, coaching, etc.
- Schedules, coordinates, and offers operational assistance for technicians to satisfy customer needs and standards
- Review technician’s work to ensure quality and meet the established standards, techniques, and safety requirements.
- Provide training programs to ensure that technicians are properly educated about the latest service techniques, equipment, general working conditions, and safety procedures
- Regularly communicates with the dispatch to ensure that technicians are appropriately scheduled according to the level of skill, efficiency, and training needs.
- Monitor and evaluate budgets, targets, and objectives to ensure company profitability.
- Specifies and ensures that the parts needed are ordered promptly to guarantee meeting deadlines
- Communications with vendors and suppliers on warranty problems, product recall reports, and product operating issues
- Collaborate on the company and departmental goals and objectives with other managers
- Understand and enforce Service Titan processes and assist with price book modifications
- Be accountable to your metrics and be willing to try new things to improve
- Handling customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships and ensure repeat customers
- Oversee customer issue resolution: including site visits, oversight of repairs, phone call follow-up’s
- Assisting with or performing administrative tasks, such as managing and updating invoices, processing new orders, and tracking inventory
- Proficient in repairing and maintenance of HVAC systems
- Ability to complete repairs and service HVAC systems
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas related to policies and procedures and provide guidance to management and employees, verbally and in writing
- Prior experience as a Service Technician for over 10 years in a residential and commercial setting.
- Management experience for over 5 years in a residential setting with proven growth.
- Proficient using mobile devices, Google Suite, Video Calls, & Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficient with Service Titan platform.
- Drug free, clean background, and clean MVR
- Ability to follow safety standards
- Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
- Ability to multi-task
- Regular and reliable attendance
- 5+ years of plumbing experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Education from college, trade school, or military
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Any HVAC certifications
- Ability to operate tablet, mobile phone and other field equipment as needed
- Ability to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and work
- Ability to lift/carry up to 100lbs repeatedly during work hours
- Ability to climb up and down ladders and/or step stools repeatedly during work hours
- Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time during work hours
- Ability to work in small and confined dark spaces such as crawl spaces, attics, etc.
- Ability to work in a wide range of temperatures (indoor/outdoor)
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time between job sites and customer locations
