This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with licensees and internal teams across the EMEA region, guiding product development from concept through to production.You’ll contribute creative direction, trend insights, and design feedback across both 2D and 3D formats, while ensuring all products align with Disney’s brand standards and approval processes. With a strong focus on collaboration, market awareness, and storytelling through design, you’ll help bring Disney’s beloved properties to life in ways that delight fans of all ages.This is a permanent position located at our London office in Hammersmith, requiring four days of on-site attendance per week.What You Will Do
  • Manage the product approval process for Health & Beauty items from initiation to production, ensuring all submissions follow Disney’s Online Product Approval (OPA) system and comply with global product integrity guidelines, corporate policies, and TWDC brand standards
  • Collaborate with Health & Beauty licensees to provide design direction, trend inspiration, and constructive feedback on packaging, formulation presentation, and both 2D and 3D product submissions, while developing compelling product pitches, visuals, and mock-ups to support innovation and quality
  • Support and guide new and existing Health & Beauty licensees by sharing knowledge of the Disney brand, property portfolio, creative assets, and approval systems, ensuring they have access to the tools and resources needed for successful product development
  • Build and maintain strong, respectful working relationships with Health & Beauty licensees and internal/external partners, contributing to team efforts across regional, local, and global levels as needed
  • Stay informed about Disney’s characters, films, properties, and creative assets, as well as Health & Beauty market trends, leading brands, and pop culture, to help inform inclusive and relevant product design
  • Participate in inspiration trips and retail safaris across the EMEA Health & Beauty landscape to identify new ideas, packaging innovations, and creative solutions that drive category growth
  • Apply commercial awareness of Health & Beauty design and packaging trends and their application to licensed products, and engage constructively in reviewing and enhancing licensee design output
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Health & Beauty category, including product formats, packaging technologies, and manufacturing processes from 2D print to 3D component development
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Degree level education in Product Development preferred. Experience in Product Management also good.
  • Proven commercial product development/packaging development experience in the health and Beauty industry with product development experience at a licensee, retail head office or company
  • Beauty trends experience desirable
  • Knowledge of trends within the industry of relevant category and the broader world of design with working knowledge of common manufacturing techniques and their application in production
  • An ability to communicate a clear product design brief and basic design ideas using CAD drawing, computer techniques and/or third party design resources
  • An ability to deliver against set deadlines and budgets as directed
  • Strong design and conceptual skills
  • Understanding of fabric, colour and product design
  • Presentation skills with the ability to effectively present design ideas to internal/external stakeholders at all levels
  • Understanding of production techniques and graphic applications with an eye for colour and shape, preferred
  • In depth knowledge of fabrics and stitching techniques, preferred
  • Ability to influence and support change amongst stakeholders
  • Written and spoken English for business use, essential; other European languages, beneficial
  • Computer literate including Mac OSX, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and MS Office
  • Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of local markets across EMEA
