- Build and maintain relationships with strategic IT partners, vendors and suppliers of JET
- Facilitate and maintain relationships between vendors and internal teams across our amazing offices in Bristol, London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Sydney and Winnipeg. This is truly a Global role
- Design and Maintain a structured vendor performance management framework across the Technology vendor portfolio
- Facilitate, host and contribute to Service Reviews, QBRs and other meetings with partners, vendors and some tactical suppliers in the portfolio to ensure excellent service and value for money
- Work alongside the Product & Technology community to build a renewals calendar which can help to shape future conversations, feeding into the category and sourcing strategy
- Work closely alongside internal colleagues (Legal, Finance, InfoSec and the Tech community) to own and troubleshoot any fractious situations or relationships
- Understand Technology roadmap to identify and help to shape a backlog of future requirements, leveraging your suppliers to bring their innovation to the table too
- Awareness of Technology budgets, flagging any in-flight requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposal (RFPs) that may cause an impact
- Risk Management - if you spot something that doesn’t look right, either commercially or operationally, own the issue and work with stakeholders to mitigate this, in accordance with the JET Risk Framework
- Manage SLAs - help to ensure that both internal and external parties keep their contractual promises and that appropriate remedies are set in place for any breaches
- Develop and track KPIs - Keeping track of these in our Workday Strategic Sourcing platform
- Understanding service levels and how they may impact our business, feeding back any key findings which may help with large contract renewals to the Sourcing team
- Take care of renewals and/or RFPs to make sure JET purchases the best product for the best price
- Managing your Tech stakeholders and Executive leadership to drive alignment on business and operational topics
- Working with Stakeholders to compile RACI matrices for strategic partners, ensuring compliance throughout the full lifecycle
- Develop regular reports on supplier service and performance whilst keeping your internal customers informed using relevant tooling
- Build and shape a problem tracking solution (using JIRA or similar) to keep tabs on any service limiting issues
- Collaborating with multiple internal functions; Legal, Finance, Procurement and others, offering our expertise when needed
- Experience in managing Technology vendors in across many disciplines; SaaS, PaaS, software and services
- Contract Management experience is highly desirable; you’ll partner with both stakeholders and our Legal Team to get initiatives across the line and would be expected to perform due diligence with relevant contracts
- Knowledge of different licensing models, TCO, ROI and a good commercial acumen
- Problem management - sometimes things don’t work as planned. You’ll need to take an issue, work through it with your Product & Tech stakeholders, log updates (using JIRA or similar) and see it through to resolution, including working with Finance on any potential recompense
- Understand root cause analysis provided by a vendor and be bold enough to challenge an outcome
- Solid and proven knowledge of modern technology concepts and systems
- Experience working with Agile based frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) - People over Process
- If you’ve worked in detail with cloud management before (for us it’s AWS, although we use Google Cloud Platform and Azure too), that would be an advantage
