Job Description:Robert Half are working with a well established client based in Derby. Due to internal growth they are now looking for an Assistant Accountant on a temporary basis, to support the Finance Manager with preparation of Management Accounts. This is an ideal role for someone with a strong all-round accounting background, who can hit the ground running with minimal support.Key responsibilities:
  • Support the monthly preparation of management accounts
  • Support with clearing a backlog of financial records
  • Maintain and reconcile all three ledgers - sales, purchase and general ledger
  • Prepare and post journals, accruals and prepayments
  • Assist with audit preparation
  • Support with any other ad-hoc tasks
