Senior Residential Childcare Worker

£30,121 - £34,941 per annum (+ £1,980 - £2,530 sleepover allowance)
38.5 hours per week - permanentWe are recruiting Senior Residential Childcare Workers to join a reputable children's residential organisation in Scotland, they create safe, loving homes for children and young people who have experienced trauma. Role:
  • Lead and mentor your team to deliver trauma-informed care.
  • Support young people to feel safe, respected, and empowered in a homely environment.
  • Take ownership of day-to-day care delivery, ensuring high standards across the home.
  • Build a sense of belonging for both young people and colleagues.
To be considered for the role ideally you will have:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a residential care setting (children or adults).
  • A relevant qualification (HNC, SCQF 7/SVQ 3/NVQ 3 or 4) or willingness to work towards this.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to stay calm and compassionate in challenging situations.
  • Full driving licence.
