You’ll play a key part in preparing and serving both hot and cold meals, including deli-style grab & go items. You’ll also serve on the hot food counter during breakfast and lunch, ensuring excellent customer service and strict adherence to Health & Safety standards.This role is based within a Christian charity that supports individuals facing addiction, mental health challenges, homelessness, and involvement with the criminal justice system. As such, we’re looking for someone who is:

- Part-time role: 20 hours per week, 5 days over 7 (including some weekends)
- Shifts: Between 7:30am – 6:00pm
- Hourly rate: £13.40

- Prepare and serve hot and cold meals in a canteen-style setting within a homeless hostel
- Serve breakfast and lunch, monitor food levels, and ensure food safety standards are met
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and deep cleaning routines
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all Health & Safety protocols
- A relevant cookery or culinary qualification is desirable, but not essential
- At least 2 years of catering experience
- Food Hygiene Level 2 is preferred – but can be completed via our online training
