Warehouse Operative

- Unloading of supplier vehicles, completing box check against unloading manifest
- Ensuring deliveries are received in good condition and fall with required standards
- Carry out warehouse functions in line with company policies, procedures and hygiene guidelines
- Ensure all activities are undertaken in accordance with current legislation, company policies and procedures and best practice
- Attend any training as required in compliance with the company’s commitment to investors in people
- Ensure all staff meet Health and Safety Standards
- Ensure operational housekeeping and overall standards are maintained
- Flexible approach to work essential Ability to work weekends and unsocial hours, including nights
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods as required.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Previous MHE (materials handling equipment) experience
- Proven experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, with knowledge of warehouse operations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation requirements.
- Experience with picking and packing procedures to ensure order accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
