Salary: £90–£105 per day (PAYE)
Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Only

We’re looking for an experienced Intervention Teaching Assistant to work in a Wakefield primary school, delivering targeted support across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.This full-time role is focused on running small group interventions and 1:1 academic support sessions in literacy and numeracy—ideal for someone with experience in phonics, catch-up strategies, or learning recovery.What you’ll be doing:Leading academic interventions in reading, writing, and mathsWorking with groups and individuals identified for additional supportSupporting class teachers to close gaps in learningMonitoring and recording pupil progress alongside the SENCO and SLTWhat we’re looking for:Experience supporting primary pupils in academic interventionsStrong literacy and numeracy skillsFamiliarity with phonics schemes such as Read Write Inc or Letters and Sounds
