A leading regional law firm with offices across Lincolnshire and the Midlands is seeking a confident, proactive, and structured Litigation professional to join its Personal and Business Dispute Resolution Department. This role offers the opportunity to handle a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters while contributing to the growth and development of the department.The Role
The successful candidate will manage a mixed caseload of civil litigation matters, with responsibilities including:Handling a range of civil litigation workGenerating new work and converting quotationsPromoting the firms reputation and contributing to business development initiatives in line with the departments Marketing PolicyKey ResponsibilitiesProvide ongoing service to existing clients while generating new workDevelop and enhance the Personal and Business Dispute Resolution Department, maximising cross-referrals across offices and practice areasProduce fee income in line with targets and agreed objectivesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant law and practiceMaintain and enhance professional legal skillsManage financial control, including billing and cash flow on client mattersMaintain accurate records of time spent on client and internal workPerform fee-earning work accurately and reliably, in accordance with the firms quality and risk proceduresPerson SpecificationEssentialExperienced Litigation Executive, Legal Executive, or SolicitorPrevious experience managing a busy caseloadExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesProfessional, positive, and flexible approachDesirableExperience of SOS Connect or other case management systemsPrevious experience with CIPHR or other HR systemsAttributesHigh level of professionalismPositive and adaptable approach to workBenefits
