This Accounts Payable Assistant position is offering a great temporary opportunity with the potential to go permanent after 3 months. This role is based 5 days in a beautiful head office in Amersham.Duties for the Accounts Payable Assistant:
  • Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Reconcile supplier statements.
  • Prepare payment runs and maintain accurate payment records.
  • Monitor accounts payable mailbox and respond to queries in a timely manner.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including reporting and reconciliations.
  • Support internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Maintain vendor records and ensure all data is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and systems.
Are you an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant?Do you live in a commutable distance to Amersham?A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:
  • A background in accounting or finance.
  • Experience with accounts payable processes and financial systems.
  • A strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
