Are you passionate about building a high performing team to support clients experiencing homelessness?We are looking to recruit a Deputy Manager to support the smooth running of the service. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Housing First Workers to provide a recovery-focused journey for individuals with complex support needs.The Lambeth Housing First service consists of 47 Housing First flats across the borough of Lambeth. The Deputy Manager will provide the necessary guidance and knowledge to staff that will enable them to support their clients to live decently and with dignity in their flats.In this role you will:
  • Line manage a team of Housing First Workers to provide flexible and person-centred support to clients with a range of support needs
  • Help to manage a robust referrals process
  • Respond to incidents and support with complex cases
  • Liaise with commissioners and staff from external services in Lambeth to build effective relationships
  • Identify development and training needs within the team
About youThe successful candidate will have a flexible and empathetic approach to working with others that will allow them to support staff based on their individual needs and experiences.
