Degree Level: Degree with HonoursJob Description:Bank Inpatient Physiotherapist | Physiotherapy - Private Hospital | Bank | Flexible Working | Fylde CoastSpire Fylde Coast have an exciting opportunity for a BANK Inpatient Physiotherapist to join our supportive team. We are looking for someone who has the capacity to provide cover during weekends, as well as being able to provide support during the week to cover for A/L, sickness etc.Spire Fylde Coast Hospital is based in the seaside town of Blackpool. We have 3 operating theatres undertaking a wide range of procedures in Orthopaedics, ENT, Spines, Ophthalmic, Urology, Vascular, Gynaecology, Endoscopy, Plastics and General Surgery.Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice to patients on the ward including inpatient and day case procedures. Discuss, agree, and explain responsibilities for the physiotherapy assessment of patients, including their needs and any associated risks. Using clinical reasoning skills develop treatment plans that are appropriate to the patient taking into consideration their physiotherapy care, risks and wellbeing.Who we are looking for
  • You must be a qualified physiotherapist with a valid HCPC registration
  • You must have at least 12 months post-graduate experience with inpatient experience
  • Experience in orthopaedics ideally
  • Experience in managing a caseload with confidence in clinical reasoning
  • Ideally someone who can commit to at least 1 shift per week (mainly weekends)
