You will be provided with direct access to the required training materials. The training costs approximately £210 (One time Payment), and successful completion is necessary prior to commencing the role.Upon completion, you will receive a certificate from the National Autistic Society, which can serve as a valuable addition to your professional profile. This certification is widely recognised and can strengthen your CV when applying for roles that support individuals with Autism, ADHD, and other neurodiverse conditions.Make a real difference! RoleRole & ResponsibilitiesYou will provide individualized study skills support to neurodiverse students, creating supportive learning plans and building strong, trusting relationships. You'll implement effective teaching strategies to foster their academic success and independence. This rewarding role offers flexibility and the chance to contribute meaningfully to student lives.Main tasks include
  • Develop and implement personalized study plans.
  • Deliver engaging and effective study skills instruction.
  • Build rapport and trust with neurodiverse students.
  • Provide ongoing support and mentoring.
  • Collaborate with university staff.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualification and a relevant teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, PGDE, AFHEA or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding of neurodiverse needs.
  • Experience supporting neurodiverse individuals (preferred, but not essential).
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to person-centered care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to complete NAS training modules (support provided).
