Bullding Surveyor - AutoCad (Public Sector)

• Assess office and staff accommodation requests, liaise with service users to identify needs and develop minor works proposals based on achievable objectives.
• Conduct condition and property appraisals of the existing estate and providing subsequent condition reports.
• Undertake measured surveys of existing buildings to provide electronic drawings for proposed alteration works and asset register data base information e.g. floor areas, volumes etc.
• Conduct surveys and audits to determine estate condition and compliance with statutory standards and Health & Safety legislation. Compile reports to identify remedial action for compliance with standards and legislation.
• As required assist in Property Management within the Estates department, e.g. assist with a wide range of estates management activities including valuations, dilapidation's, repairs, licences, easements, way leaves, change of use, assignments and sub- lettings to maintain and enhance the value and use of the Trust's property portfolio.

• A relevant degree or recognised professional qualification or equivalent/ higher qualification in an Building Surveying

• 2 year's experience of providing property advice in a complex organisation such as local government, health or other bodies
