Assistant Operations ManagerGenerous Salary plus bonuses & benefitsRuncornMC Technical Recruitment is currently seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to take line management responsibility for the Shift Team Leaders of an Energy from Waste power station in the Runcorn area. This plant processes over 1,000,000 tonnes of waste annually, generating enough electricity to power over 200,000 homes. The Manager will drive safety, staff engagement and best in class performance.As an Assistant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing leadership and support to the operational team
  • Leading by example in delivering a safety first culture
  • Providing strategic direction to Shift Team Leaders
  • Working alongside Process and Maintenance to achieve KPIs
  • Managing the budget for the operational cost side of the plant
To be considered for this role you should have:
  • Extensive people management experience
  • Practical experience of implementing a corporate management system
  • Knowledge of the waste / energy recovery industries
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Knowledge of Power , ERF or related operations highly desirable
