
Project Planner

- Develop and maintain detailed project programmes using programming software (e.g. Microsoft Project)
- Coordinate with design team, project engineers, sub contractors, and other stakeholders to gain project buy in and agree regular touchpoints
- Analise designs and specifications to determine resource requirements
- Forecast labour, material, and equipment needs throughout project lifecycle
- Identify potential program conflicts and develop contingency plans
- Monitor construction progress against the plan and adjust programme as needed
- Prepare regular progress reports for project management and clients
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards
- Support the procurement process by identifying lead times for materials and equipment
- Participate in project meetings to communicate schedule updates and constraints
- Must have NEC contract-based Planning experience, within medium sized construction projects (1m to 20m range)
- 3-5 years of experience in construction planning or project management – ideally gained within the sprinkler industry
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project)
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and industry practices
- Good understanding of commercial and contractual matters and thorough experience and understanding of programming techniques
- Experience of the Construction industry and industry standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving skills
