- Ensure safe and efficient equipment restarts after shutdowns.
- Respond promptly to production and process upsets.

- Maintain a strong commitment to incident-free operations.
- Support emergency response duties as assigned by the Terminal Manager.
- Continuously monitor process and utility units, adjusting operations to meet targets.
- Maintain accurate logs, records, and data sheets.
- Conduct sampling and chemical injection monitoring.
- Inspect equipment post-maintenance and ensure safe return to service.
- Safely manage plant operations in line with procedures.
- Prepare isolations and conduct leak tests.
- Participate in risk assessments and permit-to-work processes.
- Raise SAP notifications for equipment defects.
- Maintain detailed shift reports and ensure effective handovers.
- Collaborate with other departments and shifts to maintain operational continuity.
- Stay up to date with operating procedures and environmental constraints.
- Participate in procedure updates and ensure full compliance.
- Support the Competence Assurance System and pursue ongoing development.
- Stand in for the Senior Plant Operator when required.
- Share knowledge and contribute to team success.
- Demonstrate and develop competency through the TEP-UK assurance scheme

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Holds a recognised qualification in fluid and gas mechanics or a related discipline within the oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrates strong technical knowledge of well operations-preferably subsea-as well as flowline and plant systems, including associated processes and operating parameters.
- Experienced in both onshore and offshore operations, with a solid understanding of field execution and coordination.
- Proven ability to organise, coordinate, and monitor work activities effectively, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
- Skilled in the application and oversight of Safe Systems of Work (PTW), with thorough knowledge of relevant procedures and compliance standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with personnel across all levels of the organisation.
- Strong analytical and logical problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on practical and effective solutions.
- Applies sound, rational judgement in decision-making, particularly in dynamic and high-pressure environments.
- Builds and maintains positive working relationships with peers and stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Holds N/SVQ Level 3 in Processing Operations - Hydrocarbons, or an equivalent qualification.
