Are you a Dietitian? We have a unique opportunity to be part of a new pathway to support young people with eating disorders and disordered eating within inpatient CAMHS in Dorset.The Inpatient services comprise of 2 wards: Pebble Lodge is a 10-bed ward that provides inpatient care for young people whose care needs are best met in a hospital setting. Next door is Seastone, a CAMHS High intensity environment for up to 8 young people whose needs are best met in a more secure environment.You will undertake comprehensive dietetic assessment, co-creating individualised, evidence based dietetic care plans for the young people. ensuring the care plan is communicated using appropriate language and terminology to the young person, their family/carers as well as the staff team. You will be working closely with passionate eating disorders professionals and the inpatient multidisciplinary team to deliver the best outcomes for this patient group.For more information please contact Claire Ozmond, CAMHS Inpatient Service Manager at claire.ozmond@nhs.net or on 07557158586.Main duties of the jobUtilise highly developed communication and teaching skills to support nutrition counselling for a very complex client group.Ability to manage appropriately, distressing situations involving treatment of very unwell patients.
