Watchfinder has truly established itself as the top pre-owned watch specialist.Role InsightAs the Global Stock Control Lead, you will be an integral part of the business, working within the Logistics Department you will be responsible for the co-ordination of the following area's/aspects of the business:
  • International goods movement monitoring
  • Stock control community process alignment
  • Global Stock Position Reporting
  • Internal controls (Group compliance, ICS compliance, and legal compliance)
Duties will include, but not limited to:
  • Provide monthly and annual summary of global stock discrepancies for CFO review
  • Support Finance teams with submission of insurance claims following investigations
  • Plan Global stock takes for half year and year end and analyse results, ensuring subsequent investigations are carried out as required
  • Support with the reconciliation of back office and SAP stock at half year and year end
  • Regularly review anomalies/watches remaining in a task for long period and raise to operational teams
  • Review on hold stock to ensure un-published stock remains at a minimum
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and best practice
  • Work closely with our Internal Controls Manager to develop and implement a framework of internal controls relating to inventory management
  • Prepare ad-hoc, monthly and quarterly reviews of logistics hubs and boutiques
  • Deliver training of inventory controls processes to logistics hubs and boutiques
  • Resolve problem watches through to write-off in accounting stock, working closely with the accounting team
  • Liaise with international servicing teams to resolve problem watches.
  • Provide status updates to the business on global stock position, including relevant commentary and progress updates
  • Work with the multiple locations to return watches to the owning entities after the allotted time has expired
  • Ensure all international stores are sending purchased watches highlighted for service/repair back to HQ within the agreed SLA
  • Coordinate with logistics hubs for the prompt return of watches to international markets after service/repair
  • Coordinate with UK stores for the dispatch of watches sold to international stores within the agreed SLA
About you…
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise your own workload
  • Experienced in cross functional working and able to pro-actively chase workstreams through the business
  • Strong time management skills, working to tight and demanding deadlines
  • Previous experience in logistics/stock control
  • Strong analytical skills. Able to analyse and interpret a large data set quickly and methodically
  • The ability to problem solve, think on your feet and come up with solutions
  • Proven experience in working as part of a team
